I bought the 3 lbs. I thought it would be good because of its holistic claims, but all of my eight cats did not eat this food.

These work great. The cat will need about 3 days to get used to them, and then they won't even remember they had paws without them. They are easy to apply and look really cute! Way better than chopping off their fingers during a declaw. They stay on until the nail sheds naturally. I'm using them on my 1 year old and my 6 month old kitties. I always order them from this site:

http://www.pixiepets.com/files/softclaws.htm

because it is only $16.00 and free shipping and handling, plus she sends a free mouse toy with every order. One suggestion I do have is to go to:

https://www.softpaws.com/SoftClaws/Order/e_products.asp

and order some extra applicator tips. They are only $0.20 a piece, and it makes it very convenient to replace one nail at a time when they shed off. I highly recommend Soft Claws for all your kitties.

My kitten loves this toy. It took some time to teach him what to do with it, but once he figured it out, it became an addiction. I've had other cats that didn't appreciate it all that much, but the price is so low, it's worth giving it a try.

All 4 of the cats I had when I was married absolutely loved this product, they would sometimes get into fights over it. It was great because they could get themselves worked up playing with the ball, and use the cardboard scratcher to relieve their excess energy.

I have a new kitten now, as my ex kept all the cats, and as soon as I find this product again, he will have one, too. The initial price is low, and the refills are inexpensive. Highly recommended!

I have had excellent results with this litter. I have found that it clumps better than the clay brands, the clumps do not fall apart when the scoop is shaked, and they easily are removed from the bottom of the cat box in one piece rather than crubling apart. There is no ammonia stink from urine, it absorbs bad odors very well. Most of all, I like the fact that when my kitten cleans himself, he's not imbibing clay and chemicals, but harmless wheat dust. The scent of the product is a lttle strange, it smells like a cross between saw dust and wet hay, but I like it far better than the chemical perfume scent of other litters.

If you have several cats, you will probably need to fill the boxes with more litter, and clean them more often, because large amounts of liquid will overload the product, and make a sticky mess. It's also important to give the litter time to clump and dry before scooping, as the process isn't quite as immediate as with clay-based scooping litters. Use of a cat box liner may also help.

My adult male had the worst time with urinary tract disease and crystals in his urine clogging his urethra- we spent thousands of dollars in vet bills treating his condition. After we began feeding this to him, he's never once had another episode. Within a few months of feeding this to all our adult cats, it was impossible not to notice an improvement in coat quality, energy level, and overall well-being.

The ingredients are excellent- the meat is human grade, there is no corn which in cats is undigestible, and it also contains cranberry and blueberry to keep their urinary tracts healthy. And it smells good, not nasty and rotten like so many other cat foods.

This is a fantastic product that I would recommend to every cat owner. Just take the time to be sure you are not buying the fish flavor, which I recommend you avoid. While the ingrdients are still high quality, fish just is not healthy for cats, and is known to be a major contributor to Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease.

This is a truly excellent cat food. The meat in it is high quality human grade, not the garbage from the rendering plant, and no chemical preservatives are used. Best of all, this formula contains no fish, which I absolutely refuse to feed my kitten because of the health problems it creates. And it also contains blueberry and cranberry, which help to keep the urinary tract healthy.

When you open up the bag, take a sniff of this stuff... while it may not smell like something you would actually eat, you will notice that it doesn't stink or smell rotten like most grocery-store cat foods. It smells the way cat food should, and my kitten loves it, which is testament to its taste. The people we got him from were feeding him fish-flavored kibble, so if this did not have a good flavor he would have rejected it!

Please consider this food for your kitten, it costs more than the more well-known brands, but it's definitely well-worth the price.

Aside from the fact that the quality of this food varies by bag, it also contains fish and milk which are just not good for cats! Dairy products can upset a cat's digestive tract causing diarrhea, because they do not have the enzymes to digest it.

Fish and fish flavored cat foods are a major contributor to Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease, because they raise the amount of magnesium in the urine. This can be deadly, especially to males because the mineral crystallizes, blocking the urethra! But it does affect females, too, causing pain and bloody urine. I learned this the hard way after spending thousands of dollars in vet bills on one of my cats.

I recommend you avoid this, there are better quality cat foods out there for the same price or less.

The only reason I did not give this product a 10 is that the dome-fill feature does not work. In the instructions, it tells you to fill the clear dome with water, then place it on the base and it is supposed to automatically fill the unit. Well, it doesn't - when the water in the base reaches the opening of the dome, it stops filling. This is basic physics, so someone needs to go back to the drawing board.

However this does not affect the actual function of the fountain, which works wonderfully. My kitten took to this product instantly, with no apprehension or fear. The water is always fresh and clean, and he loves to drink from it - which is very important, especially for male cats who are especially susceptible to urinary tract blockage. He generally drinks from the reservoir, but I have seen him lapping from the dome fountain a number if times, and he seemed to think it was a game.

I highly recommend this product to anyone that has cats (or even dogs), despite the one small problem, which isn't even a problem if you just fill it by hand and skip the whole dome-fill thing. Not only is it great for encouraging your pet to drink, but the unit is attractive to look at, and has become a conversation piece! Well worth the price!
