For proper health and nutrition, it's important to know the weight of your pet. Weighing on a people scale is too inaccurate. I purchased this pet scale and have been quite pleased with it. For a "low-end" product, its construction is surprisingly good. Of course, I can't see the inner workings, but since the scale has a 5-yr. warranty, they're probably of equal quality to the exterior. It's a cute and clever cat toy, well-executed, but sorry, only one of my three cats wanted to play with it, and he kept tipping it over. Also, the string was chewed through on the first day. I can only give it a qualified recommendation with the understanding you might be wasting your money and you might have a toy your cat loves. But you never know if you don't try it.  Rating: 5 |

One of my cats likes having her teeth brushed so much that she comes to the bathroom on her own as soon as she hears me getting the toothbrushes and toothpaste out. Rating: 8 |

That's my review above. I didn't get to rate the product, so I'm just posting this so I can give it my rating. Later...I upped my rating by one because after a week of chewing, it's still useable, and the cats haven't gotten bored with it yet. Rating: 9 |

The Drinkwell fountain is the first water fountain designed for pets. Although it is constructed well, I think the design is somewhat outdated. The Drinkwell uses an air-cooled pump, so pump noise is heard. The color is kind of a faux blue marble, which I didn't think was particularly attractive. Due to the free-falling water flow, you do hear the sound of falling water. Some people like that, some don't. Although the bowl and housing is easy to take apart for cleaning, the pump itself is quite difficult to remove and replace, and it needs to be cleaned also. The power is 115 volts AC directly to the fountain through a rather thin AC cord, which is vulnerable to cat chew-through. I recommend cat-proofing the power cord. The filter used is of a better design and more effective than the competition. Rating: 6 |

The Fresh Flow cat fountain basically just does the job it was designed for---provide flowing water to cats and entice them to drink plenty of it. It's very quiet. The portable reservoir makes placement easy. The 12-volt power cable is safer in case of chew-through. It's attractive. It is a little difficult to clean due to the contoured surfaces. Rating: 7 |
