Canned Wellness is the only food I will feed my diabetic cat. It is extremely low in carbohydrates (which keeps his blood sugar steady) and my cat appears to like the taste. I switch the flavors on a daily basis. It costs more than your average grocery store brand (about $0.79 for a 5.5 oz. can at my local pet store), but you will save money on vet bills in the long run. In my opinion, you can't buy a better food.

Nice Coat, Reduces Matting

I have two Himalayan cats and I used to have to brush them every single day. After I changed their diet to all canned Wellness their coats are soft and shiny and I only have to brush them every other day to a week without matting.
Even though the food is expensive, it is worth every penny as it cuts down on grooming time and makes their hair much more manageable.
Also - one of my cats is allergic to wheat, corn, oatmeal and other grain products – so this product is very nice for him since it contains none of these cheap ingredients.

I have a VERY finniky eater, was highly malnurished when I got her. Not to mention her long fur was like straw. She LOVES this food. It has helped her become much healthier and her fur is now softer than you can imagine! I feel good feeding it because of the high quality ingredients, I'm not filling her with things that she can't digest, or aren't good for her. I feel it's worth the price I have to pay for it.

taste, beautiful coat, whole ingredients

Cons:

price, availability

My kitty loves all Wellness foods and since switching, his coat is glossy and soft!
The price is a little higher than other foods, but worth it. The only problem I have is that very few stores carry it, not at PetSmart, PetCo, etc. I either need to find a small, locally-owned store or buy in bulk online.

I absolutely recommend all Wellness foods. Fortunately, Marli loves the taste of them. She eats all flavors of the canned, the kitten canned, and the kitten dry.
