If you don't want guests to know you have a cat, get Nature's Miracle. This is the only product I've used that completely removes the smell of cat urine from the soft surfaces in my home. It needs to be applied liberally and given plenty of time to dry (up to 2 weeks). If you apply it on a dry day, leave your windows open, and direct a fan on the spot where you applied the product, you can cut the drying time down to about 24 hours. Expect the spot to smell a whole lot worse until it dries. You can also wash your laundry in it if your cat happened to have an accident in your laundry or on your bed.
